Application of speedometer for Arduino:

The sensor for speed measurement for Arduino is mainly used in the engine speed detection, pulse count, the position limit, etc. 

Features of speedometer for Arduino:

  • With imported groove coupling optical sensor width 5mm.
  • If the output of a high level, the lights are off; the lights are at low level.
  • If the module is covered, is the output of a high level, otherwise the output is of low level.
  • And good signal waveform, with a strong drive for more than 15mA.

The DO-output can be directly connected to a microcontroller IO port, if there is a block detection sensor, which can detect the speed of the motor-encoder. 
DO modules can be connected to the relay, limit switch and other functions, including the buzzer alarm.

Wiring specification:

  • VCC connects the positive 3.3 5V supply
  • GND connects negative current
  • DO switch TTL signal output
